Massage Treatments

What do I wear?

It’s up to you what you wear to your appointment however I suggest something comfortable and that you don’t mind if it gets a little bit of oil residue on. For the actual massage then I suggest wearing pants, however if you wish to go free then don’t worry the towels will keep your modesty in tact. If you don’t feel comfortable with me working directly on the skin please wear clothing that is tight fitting, but of course this will mean that you will be unable to benefit from oils!

I have a nut allergy, are your oils safe for me?

I make sure that my oils are not derived from nut oils, however like anything I cannot garantee that there has been any cross-contamination. Please let me know on booking and we can discuss options to make your experience as safe and as comfortable as possible.

I’m pregnant, can I still have a massage?

Yes, absolutely! I don’t use any products that may interfere with pregnancy. Instead of lying on your stomach you can have a massage lying on your side, with plenty of towels to support you. I can work over the abdomen if you feel comfortable but I can also avoid the area too.

Is there anything that will mean that I can’t have a massage?

There are certain conditions that may prevent you from getting a massage, if you’re unsure then please contact me before booking. Before your first massage I do ask for you to complete a short questionnaire to help me know if there are any medical conditions or allergies that I should be aware of.

Is it painful?

None of my treatments should be painful. Occasionally there may be a few moments where I’m working on a knot or joint mobilisation where you may experience a little discomfort, however it should never be painful. If it is please let me know! With massages, if the pressure is too much do say! Likewise if you want more pressure let me know!

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please contact me as soon as you know that you cannot attend an appointment. If it is less than 48 hours before your appointment then you will still be charged, so please let me know!

Do you do gift vouchers?

Of course! Massages are a great gift and I will be happy to help. Just contact me and it can be sorted!
